Telis Zournatsidis

Telis Zournatsidis was born on February 27, 1968 in Komotini and began his career with Asteras Kavala, next transferring to PAOK in 1983. He played for four years with all the developmental teams of the club, was captain of the junior team that won 2nd place in the Pan-Hellenic Championship held in Heraklion Crete in 1987, having also two participations with the men’s team. He has also played for OFI (Crete) and Apollon Kalamaria.

He began his coaching career at the age of 19 and won the Cretan cadets’ championship in 1987. He worked as a coach with the developmental teams of PAOK and Apollon Kalamaria, while he also coached the Mandoulides team (3rd Catergory Championship in 1998), xanthi (3rd category championship in 2000), Apollon Kalamaria (Thessaloniki championship in 2003 and 2005, Thessaloniki Cup in 2005) and Aristotle Epanomi (Thessaloniki Cup in 2009).

He’s a member of the Veteran’s Club of PAOK, while he has been the Team Manager of the PAOK BC men’s team since 2009.
