Born on May 13, 1995, Ben Alexander Moore stands 2.03m tall and plays both power forward and center. He joined PAOK following an outstanding season in the Israeli League with Hapoel Galil Gilboa, where he averaged 13.1 points and 7.6 rebounds in 23 games. Moore made a strong impact in the paint, shooting an impressive 63.6% from two-point range (117/184). He attempted only six three-pointers, making two of them, while also shooting 71% from the free-throw line and averaging 2.1 assists per game.
A graduate of Southern Methodist University (SMU), Moore averaged 11.4 points and 5.8 rebounds during his senior season in 2016–17.
He began his professional career in 2017–18 with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA G League, the affiliate of the Indiana Pacers. His performances earned him an NBA debut with the Pacers in January 2018. He remained in the G League the following season with the Austin Spurs before embarking on his first experience overseas.
Moore started the 2019–20 season with Galatasaray in Turkey but returned to the United States midway through the campaign to play again in the G League. In 2020–21, he continued his career in Australia with the South East Melbourne Phoenix.
The following season (2021–22), he split his time between the Memphis Hustle in the G League and Mets de Guaynabo in Puerto Rico.
In 2022–23, Moore moved to Israel, where he averaged 14.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game with Hapoel Be'er Sheva. He then spent the 2023–24 season in Turkey with Bodrumspor, averaging 7.6 points and 6.0 rebounds in 29 games.
The American big man made a significant impact throughout his first season with PAOK.
He finished the Stoiximan GBL regular season as the league leader in both efficiency rating and rebounds. Moore accumulated a league-best 390 efficiency points, recording a season-high efficiency rating of 27 on two occasions: in PAOK's 78–76 road win over AEK and in the 106–88 home victory against Panionios.
In the 24 regular-season games of the Stoiximan GBL, he collected 169 rebounds (7.0 per game), finishing as the league's top rebounder. He averaged 12.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game, while recording four double-doubles during the domestic season.
Moore also played a key role in PAOK's successful European campaign. In 18 FIBA Europe Cup games, he averaged 10.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. His most memorable moment came in the home game against Braunschweig, when he calmly converted two free throws with no time remaining to secure PAOK's qualification for the Round of 16.
