Giorgos Fillios was born on February 10, 2002, in Thessaloniki, Greece. Standing 1.96m tall, he plays as a guard.
He began playing basketball with the youth academy of Nea Raidestos before joining the PAOK youth program. At the age of 16, he moved to Iraklis, where he signed his first professional contract in 2020 and made his debut in the Greek Basket League. He later played for AEK and Aris and has made a total of 75 appearances in the Greek Basket League so far.
In 2017, Fillios won the Greek U16 Championship with PAOK. He has also represented Greece at every youth national team level.
