They were taken so unjustly and so early, exactly 35 years ago. On April 10, 1991, while returning from Athens, after the Greek Cup Final between Panionios and PAOK.
Their memory remains alive. And it will be honored every year—especially this year, marking 100 years of PAOK’s history.
Fulfilling the wish of Giannis Georgousis, one of the two survivors of that tragic night, PAOK BC will place a special commemorative plaque inside PAOK Sports Arena, at a central entrance point for PAOK fans (Gate 18).
So they are never forgotten.
The fire cannot touch the soul.
