PAOK's coach, Ilias Papatheodorou pointed out the following after the end of the game against Kymi that gave the team its 12th win of the season for the League: "We got an important road win against a team that's in a totally different place from where they stood during the first round. Their performances at home and away are proof to that. We succeeded to stay focused on our main goals on both ends of the floor, not to receive points at the fast-break with the exception of the initial part of the game, when some shots of ours that had not been good choices allowed them some easy points.

We controlled their offensive rebounding which is a tool that can give easy points to the opponent and at the same time we messed with their creation. We did that for a long period in the game and at excellent levels. Our only problem was when Kymi played a different style of game at the end. We weren't ready to react well and received quite a few points. However, we executed our offenses well, we grabbed everything the opponent was giving us, we read the game and executed accordingly.
