Ilias Papatheodorou talked to the Media in view of tomorrow's game against AEK (March 5, 19.30 LT).
"We are among the 16 best teams of the Basketball Champions League, we are happy about that. We play against a high level opponent, last year's Champion who recently won another title, the Intercontinental Cup. They are a high level team that has been consistent and they have evolved with time. It's a very difficult game for us; however, we are going to do our best. We are going to take advantage of our practice today because it's important to incorporate a few things in our tactics and show determination, passion and excitement that are key elements to winning such a game".
On the uniqueness of a two leg series: «The series will conclude in two games. Nothing can easily be decided tomorrow. It's important that we have a good rhythm, control AEK's offensive game because they are a quality team with solid personalities and we also need to organize our offensive plays in such a way that will offer us creation and good execution in the final decision».
About tomorrow game's tactics: "All teams at this time in the season have automated most things; there are very small details to work on. However, since basketball is a repetition game and we have missed many repetitions in the previous days due to the problems we had been faced with, we need to emphasize on those and at the same time on some things that maybe the opponent has invested on recently, to try and give some answers".
About Jamal Jones and the possibility of his replacement: «He's undergoing surgery tomorrow... He will be undergoing an operation that will require a minimum of 3 or 4 months. At the moment, we are only interested in tomorrow's game. We have focused on that. We'll see what our actual potential is and whether we move on to acquiring another player and if this potential is not there, we'll have to cover for Jamal from within the existing roster».
