PAOK lands Antwaine Wiggins

PAOK BC has agreed with Antwaine Wiggins to a one-year deal.

Antwaine Jermaine Wiggins was born on December 23, 1988 in Kinston of North Carolina, is 203 cm tall and is a forward. He began his career from Greeneville High in Tennessee and he then enlisted at the Charleston College, graduating in 2012 with 16 p.p.g and 6.4 rebounds.

His first professional experience was with the Brazilian League for the Palmeiras, where he played for two seasons. He had 13 points and 5.5 rebounds in the 2012-13 season and 7.5 points and 4 rebounds in the next one. The 2015-16 season found him also in Latin America, playing for the Argentinean Platense (17.9 points and 8.1 rebounds).

Wiggins returned to the States in the 2016/17 season for the G-League and the team of Toronto 905, winning the Championship. He played 39 games with 8.7 points and 3.2 rebounds.

Antwaine was introduced to the Greek audience during the 2017/18 season, when he got to play for Lavrio having a remarkable season. In 26 Basket League games, Wiggins averaged 10.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1 block.

Last season he also played in Greece but this time with Ifaistos Limnou. He played 25 games with 5.2 points and 3.8 rebounds.
