PAOK BC mateco announces the deal with the basketball player Nikos Tsiakmas who is going to compete in black and white for the season 2023-24, while he renewed his contract with our team for one more year!

The 23 years old guard, improved his performances in the first season with PAOK and his second one in Basket League. He competed in 30 games in Basket League (3,4 points in 14 mins per game), played for the first time in Basketball Champions League and noted his first eight participations in a European organization.

Nikos Tsiakmas was born on October 29th of 1999 in Volos. He is playing basketball since he was 5 years old and started from the academies of Kolossos Rhodes. He has joined teams such as Esperos Patras for almost eight years, the youth team of Promitheas, while the past years Nikos Tsiakmas was competing with Apollon Patras in which he contributed to their advance in A1 (8,8 ppg, 2,5 assist and 37,3% 3p. of the season 2020-21).

During his first season in Basket League (2021-22), he competed in 19 games (3,2 ppg, 50% 3p).

Nikos Tsiakmas has graduated in the School of Law in Neapolis University of Cyprus.
