
PAOK BC has agreed to one year deal with Zane Knowles, a 27 year old center from the Bahamas.
Zane Knowles was born on February 17, 1992 in Nassau, is 2.08m. tall and plays the center position. He learned the sports fundamentals in the States, beginning at the high school of the Champagnat Catholic School and continued into the MCAA, playing during the 2010-11 season for the Grambling State and finishing off with Tezas A&M. He graduated in 2014 having averaged 7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1 block per game.
His first professional experience came in the 2014-15 with the Wakayama Trians for the Japanese League (7.5 points, 6.2 rebounds).
He played in Poland in the 2016-17 season (with Siarka Tarnobrzeg and King Wilki Morskie Szcecin) averaging 12.5 points and 10.9 rebounds in 24 games.
In the past two seasons, Knowles played for the French second division. During the 2017-18 season and in a total of 27 games with Etoile, he averaged 9 points and 6.7 rebounds, while he played for Chartes last season with 9 points and 6 rebounds per game (total of 18 games) with 65.2% in 2-point shots and 53.8% in free throws.
