PAOK mateco announces the agreement with Phil Greene IV. The American basketball player will sign a contract with PAOK mateco until the end of 2021-22 season.

Phillip Greene IV was born in Chicago on October 23, 1992, and he is playing as a guard. He is 1m.88 tall, and is a graduate of St. John’s University: 13 points, 3,2 rebounds and 1,6 assists in 33 games in his last year (2014-15 season) as a senior. He has spent all the years of his professional career playing in Europe.

He started with Bandirma Banvit (2015-16 season) in Turkey (A2) on average 18,1 points, 4,3 rebounds and 3,1 assists in 34 games.

The following season (2016-17), Phil Greene played in Italy with Tortona with 15,8 pts, 2,7 rebounds and 2,2 assists in 30 games.

He played in Italy in the next season as well (2017-18), and as a player of Tezenis Verona he had 18 points, 3,6 rebounds, 3,1 assists in 30 games.

He started 2018-19 season in Turkey with Gaziantep. He played 9 games, with 5,7 points, 1,9 rebounds, 1,9 assists and then he went to Poland. In 8 games as a player of Trefl Sopot he had 15,9 points, 1,6 rebounds and 3,6 assists, but he finished the season in Italy with Brindisi (15 points, 1,3 rebounds, 4,3 assists in 3 games).

He came back to Poland at the beginning of 2019-20 season and he played 11 games before the pandemic (11,2 ppg, 2rpg, 2,9apg with Gdynia).

Last season (2020-21), Greene played again in Italy with Verona. In 32 games he had 14,5 ppg, 3 rpg and 3,3 apg.

This season (2021-22), Phil Greene started with Buyuccekmece in Turkey. He played 11 games (10,4 ppg, 2,1 rpg, 2,7 apg) before left the team on December 2021.
