2020 was a heck of a year for everyone in the WORLD. Corona Virus, lockdowns, travel restrictions, masks, weekly Covid-19 tests, curfews (reminds me of being 16 again lol) and many many more things I am sure I have forgotten to mention. As we turn the calendar to 2021 we can see light at the end of the tunnel! A vaccine(s) has (have) been discovered and distributed and poses the opportunity to return us to normal life just this year, hopefully ??. Movies on a Friday night, drinks with friends at a bar, and best of all, mask-less!!! I know everyone can agree with me on this, we can’t wait to get back to normal life!
As for our first match up of 2021 we travel to Athens to play Peristeri. A very talented and deep team. They have lots of quality players that bring different skill sets to the game which makes it tough to game plan for. We have to be committed for the full 40 minutes to each assignment defensively if we want a chance to win on the road and start 2021 strong ??.
Side note, shoutout to Panos, our media guy, his mother-in-law, for the Christmas dessert delicacy Open Galaktobureko??
