
PAOK BC announces a two year deal with Nontas Papantoniou. Following his brief presence with our team in the beginning of the 2018-19 season, Nontas Papantoniou returns to PAOK for the upcoming two seasons.
Nontas Papantoniou was born in Holargos on April 28, 1990, is a guard and is 1.90 m. tall.
Papantoniou started his career from Maroussi and then played for AEK, Ilysiakos, Peristeri, Kolossos Rhodes, Prometheus Patras, Larissa Faros, Panionios and Larissa, while he has also played for the Spanish teams of Araberri and Lleida.
In 20 League games with the team of Larissa for the 2019-20 season, he averaged 11 points, 2.8 rebounds and 5 assists.
During the 2018-19, when he first played for PAOK following the injury of Phil Goss, Nontas Papantoniou got to play 5 official games with the black and white jersey.
He has played for all the ‘junior’ national selections, being a member of the National U-18 team that won the European Championship of 2008, the National U-19 team that won the silver medal in the World Championship of 2009 and the silver medal of the U-20 European Championship of 2010.
