Game 5
@ AEK 5/12/20
What is upppppp my people! It’s been a while since we last met. Lots has happened, for example; Thanksgiving in America, national team break, and practice practice practice. Let’s start with our guys Vagelis and Dimitris going to play for the Greece national team last week in Bosnia and Herzegovina for European qualifiers.
We definitely missed them in our practices that week, but it gave some of our younger guys a chance to get more repetitions in practice and for our team to try different ways of attack to be more prepared for these 3 upcoming games this week. We know this 3 game week will tough physically but more so mentally. We won’t have our normal time to prepare for our 2nd and 3rd games so we need to be extra focused on the game plans. This first game against AEK is an important game for us, AEK is very good and talented across the board. They will punish us for each mistake we make so being together and focused as a team for 40 minutes is the biggest key for the game.
So Who is hungry right??
I can say personally, and my girlfriend (Emma) and Mom can attest to this, I am Always hungry ? the reason why I ask is that we had Thanksgiving dinner with the Americans last Thursday at Elston’s house. As you can see we had the full spread!!!! ??? rotisserie chicken (we couldn’t find/ make a Turkey ?) sweet potatoes, LOTS of Mac n cheese, green bean casserole, masked potatoes, spinach dip, apple pie, chocolate pie (I think it was that lol, and I think I am forgetting some stuff too ? we had so much food it was ???? but being with each other was even better than the food itself! We played some UNO! And watched some Euroleague games. UNO got real intense ? we had some arguments over rules and “cheating” which made for some classic moments that made us closer as a whole for sure. Anyways that was our off week, nothing too crazy ya know ??
Yall know the deal, catch y’all next week #BeechBlog ?
