PAOK agrees with Canadian National Team member Aaron Best

PAOK BC agrees with the international with the National team of Canada basketball player Aaron Best, who will be playing for our team in the 2019/20 season.

Aaron Best participated the whole pre-season camp of the Canadian National selection and was a contender for final cut in view of the World Championship that begins in China today till the last moment.

Aaron Matthew Best was born on September 1, 1992 in Scarborough of Ontario – Canada, is 1m.93 tall and plays as a guard/forward. He began playing basketball in his country, joined the Ryerson College, graduating in 2016. During his senior season with the Ryerson Rams Best had 17.8 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.

He had his first professional experience in Lithuania with Juventus Utena in the 2016/17 season. Best played a combined 57 games (Lithuanian Championship and Basketball Champions League), with 7.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1 assist.

He joined the GLeague in the 2017/18 season, playing for the Toronto Raptors’ affiliated team and in 47 games he had 7.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists.

Aaron Best returned to Europe last season to play for Ludwigsburg. In 36 Bundesliga and Basketball Champions League games, he had 7 points and 2.6 assists per game.
